A Med/Peds clinic is an advanced outpatient facility that can provide care for all age groups with increased emphasis on difficult disease cases, chronic medical problems for all age groups, preventative medicine, and acute care including walk-in visits.
Dr. Burress has extensive training in the "sickest of the sick" by extensive experience in ER/MICU/PICU care during training. Sliding Fee/ Self Pay Patient Schedules Our clinic strives to provide care to all patients and families and understands that difficult financial times can play a role on a patient and family getting access to care. We try to offset this problem for families by offering a sliding fee schedule and giving our self pay/uninsured patients a discount on services rendered.
Sliding Fee Patients must meet eligibility criteria based on income level and this has to be confirmed at initial patient establishment and renewed every 12 months due to changes. We offer sliding fee payments based on your federal poverty level: 200% Federal Poverty Level pays $20 per visit, 150% Federal Poverty Level pays $30 per visit, and 100% Federal Poverty Level pays $40 per visit. These figures are general costs and do not include a nominal charge for any lab, xray, or other fees incurred during the visit. Please ask the front desk for enrolling as a sliding fee discount if you feel you meet eligibility.
Self Pay Patients are also offered an incentive plan that includes as much as %50 off clinic visits and other services rendered due to their requirement to pay their fee at time of service. This discount may not include other charges incurred including lab, xray, or other fees incurred during the visit.
Insured Patients will pay their copay and any required payments and then their insurance company will be billed for services rendered as per our financial policy.
