Q/A: What are you hours of operation?  Monday and Tuesday 8:30-4:30 pm and Thursday and Friday 8:30-4:30 pm.  We are closed for patient care on Wednesdays but are in office for adminstrative duties if you need to call about a patient or to schedule a patient visit.

Q/A: I have been used to taking my child to Nashville or Columbia for Pediatric care, Can Dr. Burress provide this care here in Bon Aqua?  Yes, Dr. Burress is a highly trained and effective board certified pediatrician that can provide all the services that your child would need from a General Pediatrician out of town.  He can also offer the added benefit of admitting his pediatric patients for care and ongoing needs. 

Q/A: I am tired of going to the doctor and seeing a different doctor or nurse pracitioner evertime, Will this happen at Optimum Internal Medicine and Pediatrics?  No, Dr. Burress will give you or your child his full attention and you will see him everytime for your clinical needs.  No worrying about telling a different person something and this aids with continuity of care.

Q/A: My family member has numerous medical problems including hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, and more.  Can Dr. Burress care for a patient like this?  Yes,  Dr. Burress is a Board Certified Internist with expertise in the care of disease of the internal organs.  He can and will give your family member the most up to date evidence based care they can have with love and compassion.  Dr. Burress also admits his own patients providing for their care even in the sickest of situations.

Q/A: I go to Vanderbilt for my care and they always have students that care for me.  Will this be the case at Optimum Internal Medicine and Pediatrics?  Dr. Burress does actively teach and is a clinical adjunct faculty for a medical school here in Tennessee and as such he has  medical students, medical residents from St. Thomas/ Baptist, and Vanderbilt NP students at times.  These students may see you to increase and improve their medical knowledge but Dr. Burress will ALWAYS be the physician that sees you and gives you care.
